What is RFID protection for?
Most bank cards and passports have a small chip that can be read without contact — it's what lets you pay with a simple tap. The catch: anyone with a cheap scanner can read it too, just by standing close to you in a crowd or on the subway.
RFID protection blocks that signal. Keep your cards in the front pocket and they can't be scanned through the bag. When you want to pay, just take your card out as usual.
Will the strap really not cut?
There's a steel cable running inside the webbing. A blade goes through the fabric and stops at the cable.
Is it actually water-resistant?
The 300D nylon shell and the heavy-duty zippers shrug off rain and spills. It isn't submersible — don't take it swimming.
